About Everdale Builders
At Everdale Builders, we believe the best spaces are built through trust, collaboration, and thoughtful craftsmanship. What started as a genuine passion for building and renovating homes naturally grew into a company known for quality work, honest communication, and strong relationships with homeowners throughout Maryland and surrounding areas. Over the years, we’ve proudly worked on hundreds of homes throughout the region, helping clients create spaces that feel both beautiful and deeply personal.
Founder and builder Neil Brown brings a unique perspective to construction through both his creative eye and his background as a veteran. While serving in the Navy Band, Neil purchased and renovated his first home himself, developing a deep appreciation for craftsmanship, problem solving, and the process of transforming spaces with intention and care. What began as personal renovation projects and helping friends with their homes slowly grew into larger renovations, additions, investment properties, and eventually the foundation of Everdale Builders itself.
Neil’s military background continues to shape the way Everdale operates today, with a strong emphasis on integrity, accountability, communication, and follow through. Clients often tell us they appreciate how approachable and collaborative the process feels while still knowing every detail is being handled with professionalism and precision.
We especially love projects that feel warm, collaborative, and design forward, the kinds of spaces where creativity and craftsmanship come together naturally. Whether we’re restoring character to an older home, building an outdoor living space, renovating a kitchen, or tackling a complex addition, our goal is always to create work that feels timeless, functional, and thoughtfully built.
What sets Everdale apart is how closely connected we stay to every part of the process. Much of our work is completed in house, and we work alongside a trusted network of long term subcontractors and craftsmen we know personally. That consistency allows for better communication, stronger accountability, and a smoother experience for our clients from beginning to end.
